Always evolving to meet the needs of our customers, we have enhanced both the space and services at London North.
The transformation has provided a new reception area delivering enhanced security, a power upgrade for high density requirements and an improved Meet Me Room. Our upgraded technical space features dedicated state of the art cooling systems, further improving our customers’ energy savings. This area leads the way in environmentally sustainable design and an annualised Power Usage Effectiveness of under 1.3. This has been achieved by installing flooded room cooling using fan walls, the first of our data centres to use this technology.
These changes strengthen an operational environment that enables our customers to reduce their carbon footprint and drive greater efficiency from their operations, reducing total cost of occupancy and minimising operational risk. Global Switch data centres, including London North, operate to Tier III plus standards. All our data centres are certified to ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 45001 and 50001, with the London campus also being PCI DSS compliant.
